1. About these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.starknetcat.com and any related pages (the "Site"). The Site is an informational website run by the community of $SCAT holders ("we", "us", "our"). It is not run by a registered company, foundation or development team.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What $SCAT is

Starknet Cat ($SCAT) is a meme token on the Solana blockchain. It is a community takeover ("CTO") project, meaning the token is promoted by its community rather than by an original team. $SCAT is intended for entertainment and community purposes only.

• $SCAT has no intrinsic value, no utility and no expectation of financial return.
• $SCAT is not a security, share, investment contract, deposit or any other financial instrument, and holding it gives you no ownership, voting, dividend or other rights in any person or entity.
• There is no roadmap, promise of development or obligation by anyone to do anything for $SCAT or its holders.
• Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any token or financial product.

3. No affiliation

The Site and $SCAT are community projects run by $SCAT holders. There is no direct affiliation between them and Starknet. The Site and $SCAT are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by StarkWare Industries, the Starknet Foundation, Starknet, or any of their employees, contributors or affiliates. References to Starknet, STRK, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Raydium, Jupiter, DexScreener, Phantom, Solflare or any other project are for identification and commentary only. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. Not advice

All content on the Site, including text, images, statistics, charts and links, is provided for general information and entertainment only. Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any digital asset. Do your own research, and consult a qualified professional before making any financial decision.

5. Risks you accept

Digital assets, and meme tokens in particular, are extremely risky. By using the Site or acquiring $SCAT, you acknowledge and accept risks that include, without limitation:

• Total loss. The price of $SCAT may fall to zero, and you may lose all the money you spend on it.
• Volatility and liquidity. Prices can move sharply in minutes. Liquidity may be low or disappear, and you may not be able to sell.
• Smart contract and protocol risk. Tokens, liquidity pools, decentralized exchanges and wallets can contain bugs, be exploited or fail.
• Trading fees and taxes. Trades in $SCAT may be subject to an on-chain fee or tax, and any associated rewards may be paid out in other tokens such as STRK. These mechanics are set by the token contract and third-party platforms, not by us. They may change, stop or fail without notice, and any reward amounts are not guaranteed.
• Irreversible transactions. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Tokens sent to the wrong address, or lost through compromised keys, cannot be recovered.
• Scams and impersonation. Fake tokens, websites, social accounts and "support" staff may impersonate $SCAT. Always verify the contract address yourself.
• Regulatory risk. Laws on digital assets are changing and may restrict or prohibit your use of $SCAT where you live.
• Data accuracy. Prices and statistics on the Site come from third parties, may be delayed or wrong, and must not be relied on for trading.

Only use money you can afford to lose entirely.

6. Your responsibilities

By using the Site, you represent and agree that:

• you are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher;
• you are solely responsible for complying with the laws, regulations and tax obligations that apply to you;
• you will not use the Site if acquiring or holding digital assets is prohibited where you live, or if you are subject to sanctions or located in a sanctioned country or region;
• you are solely responsible for your wallet, seed phrase, private keys and transactions; and
• you will not use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose, or interfere with its operation.

7. We never hold your funds

The Site does not sell tokens, connect to your wallet, execute trades or take custody of any assets. Buy links send you to independent third-party platforms. We will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys or passwords. Anyone who does is attempting to steal from you.

8. Third-party services and links

The Site links to and displays content from third parties, including DexScreener, Jupiter, Raydium, Phantom, Solflare and X. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, fees or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Community channels

Statements made on X or in any other community channel are the personal views of the people who make them. They are not statements by us and are not advice. We are not responsible for content posted by community members.

10. Intellectual property

Original artwork and text on the Site are shared for community use. You may share and remix $SCAT memes and artwork for non-commercial, community purposes, provided you do not imply any official endorsement or use them to mislead or defraud anyone. Third-party marks and works remain the property of their owners.

11. No warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we, and the community members who maintain the Site, will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, tokens, digital assets, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or related to the Site, $SCAT, any third-party service, or your use of or reliance on any of them, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and the community members who maintain the Site from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your dealings in $SCAT or any other digital asset, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

14. Changes

We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. The updated Terms take effect when posted, and the effective date above will change. If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated Terms.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
